ProjectEmbedding wellbeing into housing teams.
Challenge
Before major incidents occurred, we were engaged to address ongoing pressure in the housing team: underfunding, resource gaps and rising demand were already harming wellbeing and resilience.
Inclusions
Bespoke NeuChem® resilience and leadership workshops. Use of Cari® to identify specific stress points and guide targeted action. Culture change work to highlight practical, emotional and operational needs. Support in presenting findings to senior leaders to secure organisational backing.
Results
When the Shepherd’s Bush Green tower block fire happened, the housing team were already practised in using our resilience tools and had clearer awareness of their wellbeing risks. They responded with confidence and clarity, maintaining service delivery during crisis. The programme also helped the council embed a longer-term, wellbeing-first approach to operational planning.
